Come get creative at our Super-Stories children’s Makers Space in downtown Kinderhook, NY, located in the old Rock Shop at 2 Chatham Street. This space is dedicated to a combination of free and paid programming for artists of all ages, including after-school, evening, and weekend workshops. The space is also available for private art-making parties, as well as other one-day events hosted by local creatives. We will continue to host projects off-site, collaborating with public schools and other non-profits too!

Playfully Painted Ceramics
We are so excited to have come into a big batch of blank ceramic sculptures, but we need YOU to transform them! We will use foam clay, paint, and other decorative elements to rework these ceramic forms into unique works of art! Some of the blank pieces include animals, trucks, bowls, and more!

Join us in April for another session of our Mixed Media Makers class! This class will meet for 4 weeks in April. Students will focus on exploring a variety of two and three-dimensional processes, including some more ambitious multi-week projects!

Paper Pulp Vessels!
Learn to create a vessel from a mason jar and homemade paper pulp clay, created from discarded artwork! We will sculpt our vessels the first week and spend the second session painting them. Please plan on coming to both workshops and arriving at 3:00 pm.
This series is open to adults, children 10+ and to adults helping smaller children. Families are encouraged to join!

Adult Art Club!

This is a very open, relaxed space for adult artists to get together and get creative. Artists are encouraged to bring sketchbooks, but we will also have all kinds of drawing materials available. Feel free to bring snacks or drinks of your choosing. No need to register.

After-School Art Club
Wednesdays, Starting September 17
3:30 - 5:00 pm
$20 per student
We are so proud to host our After-School Art Club for kids age 6 and up, meeting every Wednesday from 3:30-5.
This space is similar to our Summer sessions, with materials out on the tables for open exploration, as well as guided projects. This is a drop-off program and students can arrive any time between 3:30 and 5. No need to register ahead of time!
