Come get creative at our Super-Stories children’s Makers Space in downtown Kinderhook, NY, located in the old Rock Shop at 2 Chatham Street. This space is dedicated to a combination of free and paid programming for artists of all ages, including after-school, evening, and weekend workshops. The space is also available for private art-making parties, as well as other one-day events hosted by local creatives. We will continue to host projects off-site, collaborating with public schools and other non-profits too!

Inspire and Unwind
Co-Hosted by Super-Stories and Village Yoga
Join us for a special evening designed to nourish both kids (ages 6+) & caregivers.
Inspire & Unwind offers caregivers a chance to relax, recharge, and connect, all while their children enjoy a creative and fun art-making experience nearby at Super-Stories.
Kids’ Art Making & Pizza at Super Stories:
Drop off your little ones for an engaging, hands-on art session where they'll explore their creativity and enjoy pizza with new friends. No experience necessary—just bring an open mind and a spirit of adventure!
Yoga for Caregivers at Village Yoga:
While the kids are busy, caregivers can unwind in a restorative yoga session led by Cath at Village Yoga. The class will be all-levels (so you need not be a yoga pro to join) and is designed specifically to unwind holiday / caregiving stress, stretch, relax, take a deep exhale and get some good rest.

Zine Making with Trash Kid!
Unleash your creativity in this fun, hands-on Zine-Making Workshop by TrashKId Art! In this 2-hour session, participants will explore self-expression and advocacy by creating their own zine—a DIY booklet that combines writing and imagery to tell personal stories. Through fun activities like drawing, collage, and creative lettering, you’ll create a zine that reflects your unique voice. Whether it's showcasing your favorite hobbies, emotions, or dreams, this workshop is all about making art that represents you. No computers or special tools needed—just your creativity!

This is a very open, relaxed space for adult artists to get together and get creative. Artists are encouraged to bring sketchbooks, but we will also have all kinds of drawing materials available. Feel free to bring snacks or drinks of your choosing. No need to register.

After-School Art Club
Every Wednesday, starting October
3:30 - 5:00 pm

We are so proud to host our After-School Art Club for kids age 6 and up, meeting every Wednesday from 3:30-5.
This space is similar to our Summer sessions, with materials out on the tables for open exploration, as well as guided projects. This is a drop-off program and students can arrive any time between 3:30 and 5. No need to register ahead of time!
