In November of 2022, we partnered with the Rutland Middle School to produce a series of murals throughout the school based on the theme "In the 802." We held brainstorming and drawing workshops for 2 days with the students, who created nearly 200 drawings inspired by their community. Themes ranged from historical Rutland figures to after-school activities snd Vermont icons. These drawings become the boxes of the murals, which were painted alongside the 7th and 8th grade students for the remainder of the week.
